By default, Recova stores companies, parties, invoices, bank-statement uploads and reconciliation records on the customer’s own computer. Recova does not sell business data.

Subscription/license status and the minimum data needed for secure payment links or other online features the customer enables.
When enabled later, sender identity, recipient and message content required for delivery are processed by Meta/WhatsApp.
Local Mobile mode works on the same Wi‑Fi without uploading the full accounting database. Optional remote Secure Sync, if introduced, will be separately disclosed and opt-in.
Recova will not claim that “nothing ever leaves the laptop” while a customer is using a cloud feature. Instead, the product shows what stays local and what minimum information a chosen online feature needs.
